ADA TAX CREDIT

SAVE 50% ON YOUR PURCHASE!

Leander Elevation Tables are ADA-compliant

Under Small Business Tax Credit IRS Code Section 44, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) allows you to apply a credit of 50% of your purchase amount, up to $10,250 (maximum credit of $5000) for qualifying equipment, to offset the cost of purchasing certain adaptive equipment. The Disabled Access Credit is equal to 50% of the “eligible access expenditures” which exceeds $250 but does not exceed $10,250, for a maximum credit of $5,000 a year.

Please check with your tax professional for details.

Do you have:

  • Total revenues of $1,000,000 or less in the previous tax year?
  • or 30 or fewer full-time employees?

TAX CREDIT EXAMPLE:

A Leander Chiropractic Treatment elevation table can be used for a tax credit because it allows easier access for patients with disabilities. We have our flagship flexion distraction table, the 950 Series and our STAT treatment table available with elevation. Each table model has optional drops available, but for this example we will use a table that costs $8,000. We will subtract $250 because the “eligible access expenditure” must exceed $250. This leaves a balance of $7,750. Then the 50% Tax Credit of $3,875, results in a net cost of $4,125.
