Uplift Troubleshooting Guide
🛠️ Leander Uplift System Troubleshooting Guide
Applies to motorized Leander tables with elevation (uplift) function
1. Does the table have power?
- Check: Power cord is plugged in securely
- Confirm: Wall outlet is functional
- Inspect: Any visible blown fuses or tripped breakers
- Indicator: If there’s no motor hum or click, it may be a power issue
2. Motor hums but the table doesn’t lift
- Most likely cause: Failed uplift capacitor
- Solution: Replace the 110V capacitor mounted to the base frame
- Other possibilities: Binding in the column or motor gearbox
3. No response from the foot pedal
- Check: Pedal connection is secure
- Try: Bypassing the pedal temporarily if possible
- Inspect: Pedal cable for fraying or wear
- Test: Swap pedals if you have a spare to rule it out
4. Motor tries to lift but stalls or lifts unevenly
- Check: Load is within weight capacity
- Inspect: Base frame bolts for tightness
- Possible cause: Mechanical binding or failing uplift motor
5. Table lifts slowly or intermittently
- Check: For visible debris or damage around the lift post
- Inspect: Isolators or mounting hardware for damage
- Verify: Capacitor isn’t bulging or leaking
