Actuator Post – Short Stroke (for 18.5"–24" Table Height)

The Short-Stroke Actuator Post is a precision-machined, American-made component designed for use in Leander Motorized Flexion Distraction Tables with a height range of 18.5" to 24". Built from cast iron and heat-treated alloy steel, this post operates as a ball screw jack, converting rotary motion from a gear motor (sold separately) into smooth, controlled vertical lift.

At the core of the actuator is a hardened steel ball screw mechanism featuring a built-in freewheeling safety function. When the post reaches the end of its factory-set travel stroke, the internal ball cage cams against stop pins to disengage further motion, eliminating the need for external limit switches.
