Drop Rudder – Pelvic & Thoracic Drop Mechanism

The Drop Rudder is the core mechanical component that drives the pelvic and thoracic drop function on Leander chiropractic tables. This steel, silver powder-coated assembly mounts to the drop frame and is cocked by the drop handles, raising the cushion in preparation for the practitioner's thrust.

Outfitted with precision rollers, the rudder glides across a drop plate attached to the underside of the cushion. Over time, these rollers can develop flat spots, leading to rough or inconsistent drops. This unit is a direct replacement to restore smooth, reliable drop performance.
